“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
How are you doing in the midst of the chaotic time we are experiencing? Are you able to stay centered and grounded or do you find yourself getting carried away by thoughts of ‘what if’?
You are not alone, even in the midst of social distancing … you are not alone. There is a force surrounding you that has been with you your whole life. This invisible force gave you life. This invisible force has brought you through many life-changing opportunities throughout your life span. This invisible force is what animates all of creation. This invisible force is unconditional love. Feel it moving through you.
Yesterday, I chose to spend time in nature. Breathing in the fresh air, seeing the signs of spring, hearing the sweet sound of the birds, smelling the damp soil all brought me to a place of gratitude. I noticed the small buds waiting to burst forth. I saw green tips poking through the soil. The invisible force of love guiding all of this natural flow. No anxiety. No worry. No fear. Just simply moving through the life-cycle phases, unencumbered by stress.
As I passed by and observed families laughing and enjoying life, my heart was filled with hope and gratitude. Gratitude for this moment. Gratitude for the changing seasons. Gratitude for the invisible force. Hope that our world will come through this chaos with a feeling of being more connected to one another and to our beautiful planet. Hope that all will find time to connect with the invisible force of love within themselves.
“For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
May hope sustain you, believing in the things you cannot see!
